The role involves working closely with stakeholders across the wealth businesses and risk functions to provide prompt commercial legal advice. The team seeks an expert who can interpret and apply ASIC regulatory guidance and APRA Prudential Standards related to superannuation.

About the Role
  • Interpret and apply ASIC regulatory guidance and APRA Prudential Standards related to superannuation.
  • Advise on trust-related matters, including fiduciary obligations, governance frameworks, and policies.

As a trusted advisor within the team, you will offer expertise in superannuation law, the SIS Act, and Corporations Act Chapter 7, while managing regulatory change.

Your Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-8 years' experience as a practicing lawyer specializing in superannuation law.
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and ability to interpret regulations.
  • Proficiency in advising on complex issues, such as trust property management and fiduciary obligations.
  • Strong professionalism and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
