Superannuation Lawyer - 12 month contract

We're looking for an experienced senior lawyer with strong superannuation expertise to join our client, a growing financial services business, on a 12-month parental leave contract.

The Opportunity

In this role you will report to the General Counsel & Head of Compliance and support the team in shaping the superannuation legal function, including advising on product development, regulatory matters, transactions, and day-to-day legal needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Senior level with extensive superannuation experience from a top/mid-tier law firm with in-house experience.
  • Deep knowledge of superannuation legislation, compliance and governance.
  • Proven experience working with senior management and boards in financial services.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
