About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Social Media and Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for social media, capturing and publishing photos and video from our programs, coordinating and managing social channels, and working closely with our Operations Manager to promote our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement effective digital communications strategies to promote our programs and engage with our target audience.
  • Develop and manage social media content, including writing posts, creating graphics, and publishing videos.
  • Capture and publish high-quality photos and videos from our programs to showcase on our social media channels.
  • Manage and coordinate our social media channels, including responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with our Operations Manager to promote our programs and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Attend meetings and events as required to stay up-to-date on program developments and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in digital media, graphic design, and marketing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Working Conditions:

This is a casual position with flexible hours. The successful candidate will be required to commute or relocate to Canberra, ACT.
