Join our team as a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Professional.

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of store floors, shelving, equipment and other areas. You will be required to work through a checklist of cleaning tasks across all departments and throughout the store. This may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing and buffing floors, as well as collecting trolleys from around the store and carpark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure the store is presented in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment and machinery, adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on store equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and maintain efficiency.
  • Collect and dispose of waste, including recyclables and non-recyclable materials.
  • Assist with receiving and storing stock, and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • High level of physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

Availability:

  • Shifts may vary, including early morning, afternoon and evening shifts, 7 days per week.
