We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with a background in Clean Energy to step into an exciting role designed for those looking to transition from hands-on work to a supportive position.
The main objective of the Clean Energy Specialist Support Officer is to provide comprehensive assistance and direction to Australian Apprentices pursuing careers in clean energy fields. This role aligns with BUSY At Work's B Green specialist Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASS) contract. The successful candidate will be tasked with gaining insights into the renewable energy sector and, in collaboration with industry partners, promoting these emerging skills and career paths to apprentices, job seekers, employers, and other relevant stakeholders. A company vehicle will be provided for travel purposes, facilitating a blend of office and fieldwork.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for a duration of two years, with the potential for extension, and can be based anywhere in Tasmania, with travel required across the state as necessary.

- Proven experience in a trade industry, with a preference for Clean Energy
- Understanding of the clean energy landscape is advantageous; additional training will be provided
- Familiarity with Australian Apprenticeship programs, including pathways, training providers, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders, particularly Unions, Industry Bodies, and Employers
- Background in business development, marketing, or promotional initiatives aimed at achieving key performance indicators and business objectives
- Ability to obtain necessary background checks, including Working With Children Check/Blue Card and National Police Check
