Job Title

A Mammography Practitioner is sought to join a dedicated team delivering screening services every Saturday.


This role involves performing screening mammography to deliver a vital service to women in the community. The position is available one day per week on Saturdays, offering a great opportunity to contribute to breast cancer detection and women's health.


The successful candidate will join our close-knit team at Waratah BreastScreen, working independently with enthusiasm and dedication to supporting the BreastScreen program and the women of the Hunter New England region.


Requirements
  • Female applicants must be exempt under anti-discrimination laws.
  • Relevant qualifications in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent are required.
  • Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer (General or Mammography registration) with the relevant board is necessary.
  • A current EPA IA 14M/IA 14 radiation license and a NSW Drivers License are also required.
  • Ability to work away from home for up to six days at a time is essential.
