Breast Cancer Screening Specialist

Deliver vital screening services to women in the community as a BreastScreen Radiographer. This role involves performing mammography screenings on Saturdays, contributing to breast cancer detection and women's health.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work independently to deliver high-quality imaging, supporting the BreastScreen program and the women of the Hunter New England region.
Requirements- We welcome applications from female Level 2 and Level 3 Radiographers, as well as Mammography Practitioners.
- Relevant qualifications in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent/Graduate Diploma of Mammography/Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) or willingness to complete.
- Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer (General or Mammography registration) with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia where required.
- A current EPA IA 14M/IA 14 radiation licence is essential.
- A valid NSW Drivers Licence is also required.
- Availability to work away on mobile screening vans for up to 6 days at a time.
This part-time opportunity allows for flexibility and work-life balance while making a positive impact on women's health.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Mammography skills and experience are highly valued.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
