Imaging Specialist Role

This role requires a skilled mammographer to deliver high-quality imaging services. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team delivering screening services every Saturday.

The position is available one day per week on Saturdays, offering a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully to breast cancer detection and women's health.

We welcome applications from Level 2 and Level 3 Radiographers, as well as Mammography Practitioners. The successful candidate will be supported with a comprehensive orientation program, guidance from the Designated Radiographer, and access to in-house training delivered by our dedicated Tutors.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled mammographer with the ability to work independently, as Saturday screening is provided by a small, close-knit team. Above all, we are looking for someone who values excellence in care and is passionate about making a difference through early detection.

The key requirements of this role include relevant qualifications in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent, registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner, and a current EPA IA 14M/ IA 14 radiation licence.

Additionally, the successful candidate will need to hold a current NSW Drivers Licence and be available to work away on mobile screening vans for up to 6 days at a time.

Requirements
  • Applicants must be female – exemption claimed under section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act.
  • Relevant qualifications in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
  • Registered as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer (General or Mammography registration) with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia where required.
  • Hold a current EPA IA 14M/ IA 14 radiation licence.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Available to work away on mobile screening vans for up to 6 days at a time.
