About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development (BD) specialist to drive awareness of new AWS services in the Australia and New Zealand region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for new service introduction in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Build specific go-to-market messaging for new region-specific services working closely with marketing, field teams, and solution architects.
  • Evaluate and improve data on service adoption, feature requests, and sales pipeline to improve the go-to-market approach.
  • Develop and execute specific programs working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, including sales, solution architecture, cloud economics, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Build the BD pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and existing customers to accelerate, qualify, and close the biggest regional service adoption opportunities.
  • Understand the unique business and technical requirements of customers and work closely with internal specialist cloud services teams to guide direction on our product offerings for our customers.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets set for region-specific service adoption (pipeline and revenue).
  • Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to target attainment for region-specific services, escalating large opportunities at risk.
