This is a senior accountant role that requires the preparation of financial statements and asset depreciation schedules, as well as tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships.
- Preparing complete financial reports and accounting documents.
- Preparing accurate and timely tax returns.
- Completing Division 7A Loan Reconciliation workpapers.
- Reconciling GST and CGT (property for individuals and listed shares).
The ideal candidate will have experience in public practice accounting, exposure to Div7a, GST, CGT, FBT, Payroll, Property and Bookkeeping, and demonstrated skills in MYOB AE & Xero.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with their accounting needs.
- Providing expert advice on financial matters.
- Preparation of financial documents and reports.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in public practice accounting.
- Exposure to Div7a, GST, CGT, FBT, Payroll, Property and Bookkeeping.
- Worked with business clients with a turnover of at least $4 million.
- Demonstrated experience with MYOB AE & Xero.
- Bonus annual leave after 5 years of service.
- Early finish Fridays | WFH options.
- Paid CA or CPA course fees | Paid CA membership annually.
- Half-year lodgment and fees challenge rewards | Wage Bonuses.
- Internal promotion and annual salary review.
- $3000 per annum education budget for qualified CA or CPAs.
