Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing trust accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trust Account Management: You will be responsible for operating a trust account, preparing QLS audit requirements, and collaborating with external accountants/auditors.
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: You will work across all areas of the accounting system, assist in reconciliations, and report as required.
  • Compliance and Governance: You will ensure compliance with internal financial policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accounting Experience: You must have experience working in a law firm or similar environment.
  • QLS Trust Account Rules and Regulations: You must have knowledge and experience with QLS trust account rules and regulations.
  • Payroll Experience: You must have experience with payroll.
