Credit Risk Specialist

The Financial Institutions Credit team is responsible for assessing, approving, monitoring and reporting risks associated with bank, fund, broker, insurance and clearinghouse counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cover various trading and lending businesses geographically focused on Australia, Asia and the US
  • Assess and rate counterparties and propose risk appetite to senior approvers
  • Monitor ongoing exposures against risk limits and manage relationships with the Fixed Income Division
Requirements:
  • Ability to solve complex problems, leveraging strong analytical skills and a critical mindset
  • Comfortable assessing banks and other trading counterparties, derivatives and complex structures
  • Adept at reviewing transactions to ensure they are well structured and risk-reward aligned
Working Environment:

The team collaborates primarily with Commodities and Global Markets Division. The role will be based in Sydney, Australia.
