Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. We strive to provide high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide clinical services to inpatients and/or outpatients as determined by the role or rotation, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • To provide evidence-based care within a family-centred context, prioritising the needs of our patients.
  • To participate in ongoing education, teaching, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement activities, ensuring we continuously improve our services.

Contributions to Service Development:

  • Planning, development, and evaluation of our physiotherapy service, ensuring it meets the needs of our patients and families.
  • Development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, practices, and patient care within our hospital and wider community.
  • Liaison with community-based services relevant to our patient population, enhancing our collaborative approach to care.
