Job Title: Clinical Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

  • About the Role:
  • The Clinical Physiotherapy Specialist will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a diverse range of rehabilitation needs, including post-Orthopaedic surgery, post-spinal surgery, musculoskeletal conditions, Neurological conditions, and other conditions.
  • The specialist will provide physiotherapy intervention in individual and group settings in the gym, ward, and hydrotherapy environment.
  • The specialist will develop and implement appropriate discharge plans within the multidisciplinary team.
  • The specialist will work effectively within a team structure and independently as required.
  • Key Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA is essential.
  • Minimum one (1) year of physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting is required.
  • The ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands is necessary.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice is expected.
