The role of a Service Manager in Paediatric Physiotherapy presents an exceptional opportunity to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality assessments and interventions to infants, children, young people, and their families.
This managerial position involves a clinical caseload and requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to ensure consistent direction and leadership for the team.
Working closely with other service managers within Paediatric Allied Health and multidisciplinary teams, the Service Manager will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services across inpatient and outpatient areas, including patients with various needs requiring careful prioritization and clear communication.
The successful candidate will possess advanced communication skills, significant clinical experience, and a passion for delivering quality physiotherapy. They will be supported by seniors within the Paediatric Physiotherapy service and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- A relevant university degree and registration with AHPRA and membership of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
