Research Development Manager

The Role- Lead the development of comprehensive research funding proposals for major ARC initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Design and implement targeted strategies to enhance grant success in areas aligned with ARC and industry objectives.
- Mentor and manage a grants team to deliver high-quality, timely submissions.
- Collaborate with business development units to secure commercial and industry-aligned research funding opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in research proposal development and management, or equivalent expertise.
- Success in supporting major competitive funding applications, particularly Category 1 schemes.
- Strong knowledge of Australian research funding programs, including key initiatives and regulations.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of proposals from conceptualisation through to submission and establishment.
- Well-developed networks with funding bodies and research partners across the sector.
