Deputy Director of Research Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Deputy Director of Research. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical part in implementing the Research Directorate Operational Plan and contributing to strategic planning.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards achieving high-quality research outcomes. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Develop and implement research strategies that align with organizational objectives;
  • Provide guidance and support to research staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality research outputs;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to research governance;
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote and facilitate research opportunities;
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the efficient operation of the research function.
