Tax Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across Australia, providing expert tax advice and compliance support.

You will be responsible for managing a team of specialists, reviewing key deliverables, collaborating across teams, and delivering training to clients and colleagues. You'll also have the chance to work on large, multi-stakeholder projects and serve as the key client contact.

As a Tax Consultant, you will advise clients on all aspects of employment tax, including Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, FBT, Termination Payments, and Salary Packaging.

You will use technology and big data to support compliance and generate insights, liaise with clients and regulatory bodies, and deliver impactful training seminars to both clients and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive Employment Tax Experience: At least 5 years of delivering employment tax compliance and consulting services to large multinational organizations.
  • Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, alongside proven data analytics capabilities and confidence in handling complex datasets.
  • Effective and Flexible Work Style: Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and experience with automating tax processes.
