Job Title:

Business Intelligence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Intelligence Specialist will have a significant impact by assisting employers in meeting their employment tax and entitlement obligations. This includes Superannuation Guarantee (SG), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Pay-As-You-Go Withholding (PAYG W), Payroll Tax (PRT), Workers Compensation, and broader Wage Compliance.

  • Preparation of shadow payroll calculations
  • Preparation of expatriate tax returns
  • Employment tax advisory services (FBT, payroll tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation)
  • Development of analytics capabilities to create efficiencies in the preparation of employment tax compliance work, and assisting clients with their needs
  • Review of wage compliance
  • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax and payroll tax returns for employers
  • PAYG Withholding and instalment variations
  • Preparation of Superannuation Guarantee testing and Superannuation Guarantee Charge statements for ATO lodgement
  • Liaising with the ATO on client matters
About You:

You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a professional services firm in a similar discipline and be passionate about learning and developing innovative solutions for clients using technology.

You are collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative team environment. You show integrity in your work, have strong attention to detail, and are a good communicator.

Data visualisation, cleaning and manipulation skills would be advantageous but not essential.
