About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Child Health Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and experienced environment. As a Maternal Child Health Nurse, Enhanced Program, you will be responsible for delivering a family-focused, efficient, and high-quality Maternal Child Health service that meets all requirements of MCH practice and service guidelines.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service that supports the health and wellbeing of mothers and children. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering the sleep settling model of care as per DoH guidelines
  • Facilitating group work as deemed suitable to the Enhanced MCH program
  • Supporting and participating in the student placement program within the Maternal and Child Health Service
  • Working in a dynamic and experienced team of Maternal & Child Health staff and Allied Health Staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 Registered nurse and midwife
  • Postgraduate Maternal & Child Health qualifications
  • At least 1 year MCH clinical experience, preferably with some Outreach experience
  • CPR and First Aid Level 1, including ability to give adult CPR kneeling on the floor
  • Current Victorian driver's licence
  • Current Working with Children's Card
