About the RoleThis is an opportunity where you will take your entrepreneurial sales flare and be able to run with it. Much of your time will be spent in forward-facing sales with clients, working autonomously from the Australian head office.
You will liaise with an existing client base, negotiating to increase the size of wallet share in sales and identify new clients and opportunities in your market segment.
Key Responsibilities- Focus on opportunities in the process and OEM sectors
- Liaise and work with an existing customer base to increase the size of the wallet sales
- Identify and develop segment sales increasing territory footprint and brand recognition
- Develop strategies around satisfying your customer's technical needs
- Negotiate product acceptance for project and bespoke industry applications
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain delivery timelines
- Possess a technical mindset in industrial product sales
- Engineering or a mechanical trade background would be an advantage
- Have a measurable and tangible sales background
- Possess sound commercial acumen with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to map market segments to develop sales strategies
- Have an outgoing and personable approach
