Construction Management Opportunity

This role supports site construction management for a mining project with a roster work condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an interdisciplinary team managing construction projects of similar scale.
  • Manage subcontractors and client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Control and draft service orders and purchase notes as needed, maintaining strong administrative processes.
  • Monitor health, safety, environment (HSE), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and environmental deviations; ensure adherence to norms and procedures.
  • Report to the project construction director and/or defined area managers, fostering effective communication.
  • Coordinate with company functional areas and track physical progress and certifications, promoting a collaborative approach.
  • Participate in regular meetings and generate/write comprehensive reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Perform administrative tasks typical for employees, supporting the organization's overall objectives.

Requirements:

  • Engineer or equivalent university degree with proven experience >20 years in managing construction projects of similar scale, demonstrating expertise and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of project management, contracts administration, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, planning, quality control, HSE and environmental practices, strong interpersonal skills, contractor management, and client liaison, enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English, facilitating global communication and partnerships.
