Cinema Junior Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to join our Cinema workforce.

The Role:
  • You will be part of a close-knit team responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our cinema complex.
  • Your primary focus will be on providing excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver outstanding customer service, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  2. Maintain a spotless environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and ensuring all areas meet our high standards.
  3. Prepare food and beverages for sale, following quality and presentation guidelines.
  4. Restock merchandise according to planograms, ensuring an attractive and inviting display.
  5. Conduct ticket checks, assisting customers and guaranteeing their comfort during screenings.
  6. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products and services, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  7. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, using two-way radios as required.
  8. Undertake minor maintenance and repairs as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our complex.
  9. Lost property maintenance is also an essential aspect of this role.
  10. Prioritize attending mandatory training sessions, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  11. Awareness of fire and emergency procedures is crucial, and you must adhere to established protocols.
  12. Cash handling training may be provided under supervision, and RSA qualifications are highly desirable.

  • Cinema checklists must be updated regularly.
  • A general interest in the role and willingness to help others is vital.

Skills & Experience:
  • This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, working 7 days a week over extended hours, including evenings, weekends, school, and public holidays as needed.
