Working in the field of alcohol and other drug support, we provide comprehensive services to individuals seeking help with harmful behaviors. Our team works closely with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized plans to address these issues.

This role involves conducting thorough assessments and providing evidence-based interventions to support clients in overcoming their challenges. You will work collaboratively with individuals to build their skills and resilience, fostering recovery and encouraging positive life changes.

About the Role
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
  • Provide a range of evidence-based counselling interventions to help clients address harmful behaviours
  • Work with clients to build skills and resilience needed to manage challenges related to Alcohol and Other Drug use
  • Foster recovery and encourage positive life changes for clients
Key Qualifications
  • Certificate IV or higher in Alcohol and Other Drugs or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in counselling using a range of intervention techniques
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches for supporting individuals with substance abuse issues
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and written skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Capacity to build networks, work independently and in teams, and apply initiative with strong problem-solving skills
