In this challenging role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the effective oversight and delivery of projects. You will provide assurance services, including project establishment guidance, best practice governance, and stage gate reviews to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project sponsors and delivery teams, offering guidance and challenge where needed.">
  • Maintain a framework for project delivery, working with senior managers from business analysis, change management, and project management groups.">
  • Support the development of an annual project assurance plan, based on the project portfolio.">
  • Nurture and maintain internal relationships to collaborate effectively with sponsors and ensure project success.">
  • Participate in project steering committees to ensure effective governance, including discussions on project status, delivery risks, and mitigation plans.">
  • Operate in line with policies, standards, procedures, and decision registers.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as project management, risk management, business, finance, or IT.">
  • Certification in project management methodologies such as Agile, PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or similar.">
  • 7+ years' experience in professional services preferably in superannuation, insurance, banking & finance, or consultancy.">
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role responsible for provision of assurance or audit services.">
  • A strong background and knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.">
