Medical Workforce Manager Job Description:
Job SummaryThe role of Medical Workforce Manager is to provide strategic and operational support for the employment life cycle of medical staff and their workforce needs. This includes ensuring timely administration of medical staff employment processes, collaborating with senior management to develop recruitment strategies, and analyzing workforce data to provide insights on staffing and capacity issues.
About the Role
- Maintain effective rostering and allocation of medical staff across clinical areas
- Prepare and manage budgets related to medical workforce costs
- Foster team development through performance goal setting and coaching
- Participate in strategic projects
Requirements
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can build strong working relationships with stakeholders. You will need relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent, demonstrated experience in managing a medical workforce portfolio, and an understanding of business principles and continuous improvement.
