MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading global financial services firm to recruit an experienced Chief Financial Operations Specialist for a 6-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial stability.
  • Assist in the preparation of management packs and other reporting materials, utilizing strong IT skills and ERP system expertise.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, ensuring timely payments and maintaining liquidity.
  • Process weekly payments, including staff reimbursements and intercompany transactions, adhering to invoice terms.
  • Prepare and post quarter-end expense and accrual journals, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Resolve general Accounts Payable queries effectively, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Liaise with banking partners, ensuring the maintenance of banking systems and efficient internal bank transfers.
  • Oversee corporate credit card expenses and accounts, maintaining transparency and compliance.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the FP&A team, collaborating with business partners as needed.

Requirements

  • Accounting degree qualified or part CA/CPA qualified.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP system usage.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
