About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Financial Services Professional to join our team at Future You in Port Macquarie. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial advice and services to clients across various industries.

The role involves working closely with clients, providing expert guidance on complex financial matters, and leading a small team to achieve exceptional results. As an Executive Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering tasks such as management accounting, board report packs, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning.

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to work alongside senior managers and partners, as well as CEOs and CFOs of clients, guiding them towards making informed business decisions. Your expertise will be highly valued as you provide complex tax returns and financial statements for complex client groups, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7a.

You will also be responsible for organizing workflows and reviewing work for your team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. With a diverse range of clients from various industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, construction, and retail, as well as very High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), you will have the opportunity to expand your professional network and develop your skills further.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert financial advice to clients, including management accounting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning
  • Preparing complex tax returns and financial statements for clients
  • Liaising with clients to understand their business needs and developing tailored solutions
  • Leading a small team to achieve exceptional results and deliver high-quality services
  • Collaborating with senior managers and partners to develop business strategies and drive growth
Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in public practice, preferably with a CA/CPA qualification or near completion. Additionally, you should possess excellent analytical skills, superb attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Australian/NZ permanent residency is essential for this position.
