About this role:

This is a unique opportunity to drive long-term, impactful change in how we attract, develop and retain a workforce that serves diverse legal and non-legal needs.

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of our first enterprise-wide workforce planning strategy.

This will involve leading design and delivery of VLA's inaugural workforce planning strategy, partnering with senior leadership to identify future workforce needs aligned to organisational goals, and implementing data-driven initiatives such as workforce skills assessments, capability mapping and workforce modelling.

The role requires refining and prioritising existing planning initiatives, conducting internal capability reviews and external environmental scans, and collaborating across functions to ensure alignment with government priorities, legislative requirements and community needs.
