Job Title: Key Account Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our key client relationships and drive business growth. As a Key Account Director, you will play a vital role in fostering strong client connections, developing revenue-enhancing strategies, and delivering exceptional results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading client relationship management, building reputation, and securing new opportunities.
  2. Developing annual strategies for revenue growth and implementing effective plans.
  3. Mentoring the team on products and binder management, ensuring seamless execution.
  4. Collaborating with wider Aon partners to deliver contributed solutions that enhance client experience.
  5. Cultivating relationships with Aon event promoters and direct clients in the festival and event space.
  6. Assisting with broking and carrier marketing to achieve best outcomes for clients.
  7. Developing retention plans to maintain and grow A-class clients and online opportunities.
  8. Improving efficiency and processes to optimize resources and profitability.
  9. Developing thought leadership and articulating Aon's proposition to external and internal partners.
  10. Serving as a technical referral point for colleagues.
  11. Acting as a binder signatory.
  12. Leading Business Development activity for both online and direct client opportunities.
  13. Delivering client education programs and conference attendance, potentially involving interstate travel.

Requirements

  • Commercial understanding of business and insurance markets.
  • Experience in property, public liability, cancellation, equipment, and other general insurances relevant to the Entertainment sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance products required by Entertainment.
  • Mentoring skills.
  • Excellent commercial skills, including ability to deliver and report on financials.
  • Strong negotiating, listening, and communication skills.
  • Proven client management, relationship skills, and new business development.
  • Adaptable, focused, and self-disciplined, with strong social skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
