The Senior Employment Relations Consultant will provide high-level strategic support to university management and staff on employment relations matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong working partnerships with leaders, teams, and stakeholders based on trust and open communication.
- Create, update, and implement employment relations frameworks, policies, and enterprise bargaining strategies.
- Manage complex employment relations issues and partner with staff on case management and investigations.
- Design and deliver employment relations training sessions to educate leaders on best practices.
- A seasoned expert in employment relations with a passion for collaborative work environments.
- Highly developed interpersonal, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Extensive experience in providing strategic advice on industrial instruments and employment regulations.
- Demonstrated success in managing union relationships, disputes, and enterprise bargaining activities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Is an expert in employment relations with a passion for collaborative environments.
- Has highly developed interpersonal, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills.
