Field Service Technician Job Description
Job Title: Senior Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Field Service Technician to join our team. This full-time role involves providing expert technical support and maintenance for manufacturing technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machines and related equipment.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing effective break-fix strategies.
  • Providing training and guidance to clients on the proper operation and care of their CNC systems.
  • Documenting all work performed and maintaining detailed service records.
  • Liaising with the support and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a manufacturing Field Service technician or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of manufacturing machine technology.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Relevant technical certifications, qualifications, and/or experience in Mechanical / and or /Electrical Engineering.
