Advanced Manufacturing Specialist

Develop your expertise in sheet metal manufacturing with a dynamic role that offers clear career progression opportunities.
This position is ideal for individuals with experience in operating manufacturing software and knowledge of different material types. You will be responsible for optimising customer CAD drawings, modifying parts, and achieving superior nesting results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use best practice methodologies to nest and tag components across various equipment.
- Modify and adjust parts using Autodesk AutoCAD and start working on 3D assemblies in Autodesk Inventor.
- Evaluate all parts scheduled for production to maximise material yield.
- Program, review, and export laser cutting programs to TRUMPF CO2 and Fiber lasers.
- Expand skills by configuring and programming industrial automation systems, including Liftmaster loaders.
- Select and procure raw materials from trusted suppliers.
- Manage, recover, and utilise raw material offcuts and remnants.
Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to high quality standards in all processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation, or optimisation of QA processes.
- Report and contribute to the investigation of any quality issues.
- Engage actively in continuous improvement efforts to enhance work methods and outputs.
