Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Lowell, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in wire bonding techniques and semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality electronic components, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform component wire bonding functions in the production of RF transistor packaged devices, operating automatic and semi-automatic wire bonders and bond pull testers.
  2. Work on assignments specified by build sheets, requiring attention to detail, high quality, and a consistent work rate.
  3. Operate various wire bonding equipment, managing multiple tasks across several pieces of equipment.
  4. Set up and make minor adjustments on wire bond machines independently.
  5. Collaborate with test technicians to determine optimal wire bonding parameters, including adjusting loop heights.
  6. Discuss technical problems encountered with supervisors or technical personnel.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail.
  • Proven success working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed work specifications and instructions.
  • Excellent listening skills and adaptability to change.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to wear required protective equipment.
  • Basic computer, math, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 5-7 years of related experience preferred.
  • Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
