
Care and Recovery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team at our Garbutt facility in Townsville. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will contribute to high-quality recovery-focused services delivering specialised withdrawal (detox) nursing care.
- Conduct clinical assessments and interventions, monitor patient progress and provide physical and mental health support as needed.
- Collaborate with medical officers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing detoxification.
- Administer medications for withdrawal management and manage client admissions and discharges according to hospital protocols.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient information and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Enrolled Nurse qualifications and current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, including mental health support
- Up-to-date knowledge of clinical withdrawal management guidelines
- Blue Card for working with children and vulnerable adults
- Current Driver's Licence
