About this Role

Support Young People in their Recovery Journey

You will be working with young people who are experiencing challenges with alcohol and other drug use. Your role will be to provide comprehensive case management support, guiding them through their recovery journey.

This is a trauma-informed and psychologically aware environment where creative approaches are encouraged. You will work closely with clients to develop individualised plans that meet their diverse support needs.

  • Deliver assessment, referral, and advocacy services to young people and families dealing with problematic substance use.
  • Build knowledge of current trends, interventions, and best practices in the field.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to deliver integrated care.
  • Support clients in rebuilding positive family and community connections.
  • Maintain accurate client-focused documentation.

Key Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Social Work, Youth Work, or related field, or Diploma-level qualification in Community or Youth Services, along with relevant experience.
  • Proven case management experience with individuals facing complex circumstances.
  • Strong understanding of trauma, mental health, and youth development.
  • Culturally and linguistically diverse populations experience and awareness of varied religious and cultural practices.
  • Current Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check.
