Job Title: Cleaner
">At our organisation, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaner. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the well-being and comfort of residents in a supportive environment.
">About Your New Role:
">You will be working as part of a close-knit team, playing a vital role in maintaining a clean and comfortable living space for our residents. Key tasks include carrying out laundry and house cleaning duties, assisting with moving large items such as furniture, beds, and rubbish bins, and adhering to infection control measures and food safety guidelines.
">Duties:
">- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in resident rooms and site common areas
- Replenish supplies from the storeroom, including receiving and storing goods
- Assist with relocating large items around the site, including rubbish bins and furniture
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to infection control and food safety
- Schedule paperwork for each shift and complete according to guidelines
- Site common areas are included in tasks along with resident rooms
- Laundry tasks may also be required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent time management skills, a high level of comprehension and attention to detail, and the ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support. You must also be able to relate to the aged care population with empathy, understanding, and respect. A National Police Check and Up-to-date Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations are mandatory requirements for this position.
