Clean Environment Support Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Clean Environment Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents.

About Your Role

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for residents, including rooms and common areas
  • Assisting with laundry tasks, as needed
  • Receiving and storing supplies from the storeroom
  • Assisting with moving large items, such as furniture and rubbish bins

You will also need to:

  • Comply with infection control measures and food safety requirements
  • Complete paperwork for each shift on time

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently, has good time management skills, and can engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A high level of comprehension and attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support
  • Relates to the aged care population with empathy, understanding, and respect
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check and NDIS clearance
