Key Role Summary:

This senior position involves providing in-depth risk advisory expertise to all business units across the Consumer Bank and distribution network.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Function as a Senior Manager in performing risk analytics, strategic advisory and business partnering with heads of Consumer Bank.
  2. Develop and master risk profiles for designated business units, assist with the development of risk strategies on both Business and Group levels.
  3. Conduct deep dive reviews of issues, assess inherent & residual risks and their underlying impacts under current regulatory landscape.
  4. Contribute to Operational Risk in Projects, initiatives, strategies and cost-effective embedding to BAU.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor to strengthen risk culture, provide insights on key risks, controls, metrics and trends, drive continuous improvement and efficiency of risk management process.
  6. Document findings for management and committee reporting, actively contribute in risk forums and meetings.
  7. Assume Executive Manager role in absence.

Skill Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Operational Risk experience in Banking & Financial Services.
  • Practical risk advisory and partnering experience with business.
  • Ability to verbalise / articulate operational risk issues.
  • Basic knowledge of prudential environment where a Retail Bank operates.
  • Ability to manage workload and drive process especially in matrix working environment.
