Project Management Office Lead Position

Seven Consulting is a private and independent Australian project management consultancy. Since 2002, we have managed and successfully delivered large-scale business transformation projects for top companies.

We are looking for a skilled PMO Lead to join our team on a contract basis. As a PMO Lead, you will work directly with clients to deliver high-quality PMO services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and operating the PMO for a project or program
  • Driving improvements and uplifting PMO capabilities
  • Developing and implementing robust processes and governance controls
  • Refining existing PMO practices in line with changing requirements
  • Liaising with sponsors, steering committee members, and stakeholders at all levels of the client's organisation

Requirements:

  • Self-starter with proven ability to set up and run project-level PMOs
  • Minimum 7 years experience in implementing improvements in the value delivered by the PMO
  • Track record of successfully delivering PMO services for technology projects and programs
  • Proven abilities in establishment and management of governance and controls for traditional and agile-run projects/programs/portfolios
  • Experience leading teams
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to influence
  • Desirable: Experience in EPMO as well as project-level PMO
  • Excellent references from previous employers and client sponsors
  • High energy levels to ensure successful project delivery
  • Tenacity and resilience, remain calm under pressure situations
