Project Management Office Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to plan, oversee, and report on live projects to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will function as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on day-to-day project operations, including planning, governance, and stakeholder communication.

This role has responsibility for facilitating project discussions, tracking deliverables, ensuring project plan adherence, and managing risks. The PMO Lead will lead the work to establish and mature the Project Management Office as a central function within our organization.

  • Lead capacity building to strengthen project management capabilities across our organization.
  • Develop and maintain our project management methodology and tools.
  • Maintain a consistent approach to project oversight and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' professional experience in related fields, including consulting or vendor-side project management experience. They will possess a proven track record of managing and delivering project management support functions, with strong attention to deadlines and accuracy.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in utilising various communication techniques to support management and colleagues, and to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or project management, or a related discipline.
