Electrical Project Manager Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Lead to oversee the delivery of electrical engineering work packages for our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards, and providing hands-on project engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Leadership: Maintain a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with policies and HSE standards.
  • Electrical Design Management: Manage the Electrical Engineering team to align project scope and capital estimates with delivery strategy.
  • Design Engineering: Develop electrical scopes of work, standards, and specifications for the project.
  • Project Engineering: Prepare technical specifications, tender packages, and manage procurement processes.
  • Risk and Stakeholder Management: Identify and actively manage risks associated with assigned work packages.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in Engineering with 10+ years of professional experience, proven expertise in managing the engineering aspects of capital projects in heavy industry, and demonstrated commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project), strong understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes, familiarity with Australian and industry standards and regulations, and ability to manage risks, prioritise tasks, and deliver within budget and schedule.
