Electrical Project Manager Role

The Job:

This position involves leading the electrical engineering work packages for projects across Australia, overseeing delivery to ensure timely and budget-conscious solutions.

  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards
  • Manage resources and ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Provide hands-on project engineering expertise

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Leadership:

Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with policies and health and safety standards.

Electrical Design Expertise:

Lead the Electrical Engineering team to align project scope and capital estimates with delivery strategy.

Design Engineering:

Develop electrical scopes of work, standards, and specifications for projects.

Project Engineering:

Create technical specifications, tender packages, and manage procurement processes.

Risk Management:

Identify and actively manage risks associated with assigned work packages.

About You:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification in Engineering with 10+ years of professional experience
  • Demonstrate proven expertise in managing the engineering aspects of capital projects in heavy industry
  • Show strong understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes
