Operational Services Supervisor

About this role:

This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating hotel services at a major healthcare facility. The operational services supervisor will oversee the hotel services team by coordinating cleaning, grounds, and gardens, porterage, waste management, mortuary services, and linen supplies to meet organisational goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and supervising the hotel services team
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams to provide timely and responsive hotel services
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service delivery
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in supervising and providing training and support to the hotel services team
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in hotel services and in the use of appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Proven organisational skills with ability to utilise problem-solving strategies, prioritise and allocate tasks
  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic mediums
