Set beneath heritage-listed Central Station, the Grand Central Hotel is one of Brisbane's busiest pubs, with multiple bars and serious food and beverage volume. A true CBD landmark with a constant flow of guests.
We're hiring a driven Hotel Manager to lead service at scale, mentor a strong team, and deliver standout results in a venue with real momentum.
In this role, you will
Lead from the front so the team sees what exceptional service looks like every day
Upskill and develop product knowledge and service standards across the bar team
Ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, entertaining experience
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and Liquor Licensing laws
Review operations and implement practical solutions that lift efficiency
Communicate clearly and professionally, in person and in writing
Provide accurate function and event information well in advance
Be hands-on and support other roles across the venue when needed
Work with the broader Management team to position the venue as a premier functions and events destination
What you'll bring
Proven experience running a busy restaurant or F&B department in a high-volume environment
Strong industry knowledge, especially current cocktail and beverage trends
Confident leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate, coach and develop a team
Ability to build proactive relationships with the local community
Commercial focus with a track record of driving growth, activation and brand outcomes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Certifications: RSA, RSG. RMLV Highly Regarded
Details
We offer a competitive salary, negotiable based on experience, with opportunities for career development and progression. This is a Full-Time position. We are seeking candidates that have strong time management and professionalism, understanding the importance of having a presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends.
