Job Role

Project Management and Service Development

As a key member of the Family, Youth and Children's Services Branch, you will lead important and impactful projects for children, young people, and their families in Yarra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive continuous improvement and integrated service delivery.
  • Oversee and coordinate the branch administration team.
  • Work closely with the branch leadership team and Manager to ensure timely, informed decisions by the Executive Leadership Team and Councillors.

About the Team

The Family, Youth and Children's Services Branch is an innovative team that supports and improves the lives and outcomes of children, families and young people.

The branch has five service units: Children's Services, Connie Benn Centre, Family Services, Service Planning and Development, and Youth and Middle Years Services.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be a strong communicator, politically astute, capable of leading and managing complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, and a strategic thinker.
