Job Title: Senior Privacy Leader

This is a senior leadership role that requires exceptional knowledge and expertise in privacy risks and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing best practice across a board and within complex organisations, as well as experience in leading and developing teams to drive efficiencies and excellent team culture.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for privacy at AUSPAC;
  • Provide expert, informed, and pragmatic advice to the business on privacy risk, controls, and responsible data use requirements and considerations;
  • Oversee the effective implementation of Group privacy, data, and AI policies and approaches into the AUSPAC business to drive consistency across the enterprise and ensure management of AUSPAC risks;
  • Be the point of contact to, and oversee the approach with, OAIC related matters, including managing the relationship with the regulator;
  • Implement pragmatic approaches to further build QBE's privacy risk maturity for teams;
  • Oversee key privacy governance requirements, including PIAs, privacy incidents, and assessments, retention management, personal information flows, transparency requirements, and other such activities;
  • Provide meaningful reporting, metrics, and insights to the business, senior executives, and Group Head of Privacy on the management of privacy;
  • Lead a small team of privacy experts;
  • Participate in a Global Privacy Team and represent AUSPAC at relevant forums working collaboratively with other Divisional privacy leads;
  • Evaluate and improve the current data flow through Data Governance, identify and mitigate all potential data leaks; maintain an open communication flow with stakeholders, increase high-value productivity of employees and upskilled your workforce;
