Our company is seeking a qualified and experienced privacy expert to provide contractual support for Australian or multinational companies.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an in-house legal setting.

Key responsibilities include delivering expert legal counsel on privacy and data protection issues, facilitating understanding and adherence to Australian privacy laws, and developing commercial agreements that include information law clauses.

Other responsibilities include creating privacy policies, consent forms, and compliance documentation, as well as providing strategic guidance on compliance reporting, data tracking requirements, and updates to internal codes of conduct.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the field of privacy law.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating comprehensive data privacy and data processing agreements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
