Construction Site Inspector

Transport for NSW is seeking a skilled Construction Surveillance Officer to join our team on the M6 Stage 1 project. This is a fixed-term opportunity until 26/12/2025.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with transport road specifications and engineering drawings.
- Monitor and report on site works, identifying potential safety, quality, environmental, or other issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors and transport personnel.
- Oversee drainage, earthworks, pavement, bridges, culverts, and retaining walls on brownfield sites.
- Facilitate utility relocations and ensure site works are completed to the required standard.
We're looking for someone with a background in civil infrastructure, ideally with an understanding of transport road specifications. You'll have a keen eye for detail and be confident in your ability to read, understand, and ensure engineering drawings are followed.
As a team player, you'll have experience working in a leadership or supervisory role, potentially developing your career from an operator or trades background.
