About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Inspector Team Lead to join our team at pitt&sherry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a skilled team of Asset Inspectors in the condition assessment of bridges, culverts, and other transport infrastructure assets for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of Asset Inspectors in the condition assessment of transport infrastructure assets
  • Project management of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring seamless coordination with contractors and on-time delivery of results
  • Engage in hands-on site work, project management, and reporting as required, providing end-to-end oversight
  • Embrace a diverse range of projects, from local to opportunities further afield that require travel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years experience undertaking site inspections or managing inspection works, preferably in bridges or transport infrastructure
  • Qualified as a civil/structural engineer, engineering technician, or with a trade background
  • Proven leadership of a small team desirable
  • Strong project management skills desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and contractors
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
